Securus Technologies walked out of the 11th Stevie Award gala with gold. Having won in both Customer Service Training Department and Sales and Customer Service categories, the tech solutions company stood apart from the competition.
The Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service is known the world over for being able to recognize exceptional enterprises that lead businesses in their respective industries as well as setting an example for business leaders as a whole. So during the 11th annual awards gala in Las Vegas, business leaders and representatives from well known companies stepped into Caesar’s Palace, all anxious to see who would be recognized as exceptional among the thousands of entrants.
Danny de Hoyos, Senior Vice President of Operations at Securus Technologies, was in attendance to receive the awards on behalf of the company. He was understandably pleased that the Stevie Awards chose to recognize how Securus carries out its business functions but also the vital role they play in securing public safety.
Being a company that provides tech solutions and services mostly to law enforcement agencies and public safety organizations, de Hoyos recognizes that Securus’s clients encounter a great deal of stress and must meet crucial deadlines in order to better protect the public. Because of this, de Hoyos pointed out, learning how to combine the need to meet customer satisfaction with the company’s overall business plan is the only way succeed in their field.
It’s a policy that seems both sound and successful, both in business and in receiving accolades from awards organizations like this one. During the gala, Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards, noted that the growing importance of customer satisfaction is inseparable from effective business practices. While it is an ethical issue for businesses as a while, Gallagher sees financially effective enterprises as ones that can foster customer loyalty by maintaining a favorable reputation, the kind recognized by his organization.
